Jakiej muzyki słuchamy?
Ja za to słucham głównie rock'a i gatunków mu podobnych, ba, nawet sam na gitarce pogrywam Zespoły tj. R.E.M., Creed, Metallica, Marillion, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Savatage to podstawa, a ostatnio poznaję też dużo staryszych kapel, ale raczej tak tylko przesłuchuje np. Black Sabbath, Dire Straits, Jethro Tull, Genesis, Paul Simon & Art Garfunkel...
Za to kompletnie nie podchodzi mi techno i większość hh (niektóre piosenki jakoś przeboleje, ale czasami kiedy słyszę ten monotonny beat w tle to rzygać mi się chce - sorki za wyrażenie, ale tak właśnie się czuję ). Chociaż nie powiem, na dysce w rytm techno można sobie jaja porobić, wiecie jakiś pseudo breakdance zatańczyć tak dla rozbawienia tłumu lub wkurzenia okolicznych dresków

Before I even got to Miami,
I made the decision that I wouldn't set foot into any art fair.
I was going to see friends and have fun.
This was my 4th year of going to Art Basel.
The first year we performed and I didn't go to any of the art fair
booths where all the galleries shill there wares.
The second year I went into the convention center for 15 minutes to
buy a painting from Deitch that I knew I wanted.
Last year I went to the convention center and to the Nada art fair
and I found the experience exhausting and overwhelming.
At first excited, then daunted, then depressed, then dazed and I escaped.
Wandering the booths is no place for an artist.
It is not an exhibition it is a warehouse sale.
There is something great about art work being brutally displayed
without curation and without hierarchy.
But it is harsh and cruel capitalism at it's best and worst.
Therefore my schedule was full of events and fun times with friends
on the dance floor!!!!
Diary of an ARTY FARTY PARTY ANIMAL:
Day One:
-I saw Peaches perform on the beach.
-Devendra Banhart do a show at The Raleigh.
-Had cuban sandwiches and plantains with Slava Mogutin, Brian Kenny and Ave. D until 4am.
Day Two:
- Had a giant cuban coffee! first thing. (fucking awesome!!!)
- Went to the beach.
- Met Michael Bevilacqua for dinner at The Raleigh.
- Went to Yvonne Force's dinner at The Standard with Mathu Placek.
(I wore an giant jalabi from Kuwait.)
- Saw Dita Von Teese perform at The Delano.
- Hosted a night at Studio A. Whitey performed and THEY WERE GREAT!!!!
- Went to Le Baron and karaoked Nightclubbing with Robert Melee (crazy artist!)
Day Three:
- went to the Paper Store in the Design District. (fantastic murals by Jim Drain)
- played mini-golf @ Paul's installation.
- went to Arden Wohl's screening at The Raleigh penthouse where Domino performed
(they were really good).
- went to Doug Aitken/ MOMA/ Vanity Fair party at The Shore Club.
- went to Le Baron and danced
Day Four:
- steamed, sauna-ed and detoxed at The Standard spa (which is really nice.)
- dinner with Simon Hammerstein.
- hosted a cabana at The Delano.
- went to The Visionaire party and met Andreas, the super male model with Mathu, Abbey.
- guess what?! LE BARON, again. danced and drank the night a way.
- had pizza on the steps of The Shore Club with Thomas Dozol at 5am.
AND!
when Paris drunkenly stumbled out of her Maibach in front of us and into the hotel
and ended her night before ME!!!
I knew it was time to
GO HOME.
I survived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jennifer Aniston zaangażowała się w musical "Goree Girls" jako aktorka i producentka.
Projekt powstanie w oparciu o prawdziwe wydarzenia i opowie o grupie ośmiu więźniarek zakładu karnego Goree w Teksasie, które w latach 40. założyły pierwszy w pełni kobiecy zespół country, zdobywając serca milionów fanów.
Aniston i druga z producentek, Kristin Hahn, nabyły prawa do artykułu "O Sister Where Art Thou" Skipa Hollandswortha, który ukazał się w 2003 roku w czasopiśmie "Texas Monthly" i przybliżył czytelnikom historię osobliwej kapeli. Na jego podstawie Margaret Nagle stworzy scenariusz musicalu. Trwają poszukiwania odpowiedniego reżysera.
Aniston jest również doceniana za to co zrobiła- jej reżyserski debiut Room 10 zdobył nagrodę w kategorii Najlepszy Film Krótkometrażowy na Festiwalu Filmowym CineVegas.

NPR.org, January 8, 2008 - The Austin-based rock band Spoon has been making tight, adventurous art-pop for nearly 15 years. On the strength of frontman Britt Daniel's meticulously crafted songs, the group has amassed a nearly flawless catalog ? including its latest album, the oddly titled Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga. Hear Spoon in a full concert recorded live from Washington, D.C. with the Chicago-based indie-rock band The Ponys.
Like Spoon's earlier work, Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga is a carefully plotted collection of cryptic pop songs. Just 33 minutes long, the album is thoughtfully trimmed and lyrically spare, with each note and studio tweak sounding more handpicked than improvised. That's not to say the music isn't inspired: Daniel and his bandmates are merely economical, with brilliant results.
Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga follows Gimme Fiction, which appeared on many best-of lists in 2005. Earlier recordings include Girls Can Tell, Kill the Moonlight and A Series of Sneaks.
Spoon formed in Austin in 1993. In addition to Daniel, the group features Jim Eno on drums, Eric Harvey on keyboards and Rob Pope on bass. [/code]

Przez blisko 10 lat prowadził w Rozgłośni Harcerskiej / RHKontakt / Radiostacji audycję "Raptime", poprzez którą zaznajomił z dobrym Hip-Hop’em tysiące słuchaczy i zainspirował wielu rodzimych artystów do rozpoczęcia działalności. Trudno znaleźć liczący się Hip-Hop’owy zespół, który nie byłby kiedyś jego gościem. Będąc posiadaczem niezmierzonej wiedzy o muzyce i gigantycznej kolekcji płyt z szeroko pojętą „Czarną Muzyką”, Druh Sławek jest w stanie przygotować selekcję nagrań, o jakiej inni mogą tylko pomarzyć. Jego imprezy stanowią "przedłużenie" audycji radiowych – Można na nich usłyszeć wszystko, co ma dobry, porywający do tańca groove, w szczególności zaś rzeczy mało znane i niegrane przez praktycznie nikogo innego w Polsce: Go-Go (wywodzącą się z Waszyngtonu najlepszą współczesną muzykę taneczną), Funk, Afro-Funk, Oldschoolowy i niekomercyjny Hip-Hop.
Inna muzyka
Zacznę od początku, czyli od dzieciństwa. Wywodzę się z pokolenia Roxette i to był przez kilka lat mój ulubiony zespół. Ich nieoryginalne kasety kupowałem z taką namiętnością, że wkrótce moja prywatna kolekcja urosła do gigantycznych rozmiarów, chociaż Roxette mieli wtedy na koncie trzy lub cztery studyjne płyty. Później rodzice zarazili mnie fascynacją muzyką rockową... Na początku było The Rolling Stones, The Doors, a potem jeszcze Metallica, Nirvana i Aerosmith. Z czasem zacząłem poszukiwać w muzyce czegoś innego, niż tylko gitarowego "łojenia". Wtedy odkryłem min. Bruce'a Springsteen'a. Obecnie słucham bardzo różnorodnej muzyki, bo uważam, że ograniczanie się do jednego gatunku (lub jednego artysty) jest grzechem, biorąc pod uwagę piękno i bogactwo odczuć jakich dostarczają nam różne muzyczne style. Ostatnio słucham często np. Stevie Nicks (bardzo cenię ją za teksty i oryginalny wokal), Fleetwood Mac, Anity Baker i Jody Watley (chill-out, house, drum'n'bass). Moim ostatnim odkryciem jest również Bryan Ferry i Roxy Music. Naprawdę świetny, inteligentny pop/rock (a może lepiej art-rock ?). Gdybym miał jednak zrobić listę moich ulubionych wykonawców poza Bruce'em, to wyglądałaby tak: (bez szczególnej kolejności) :

LONDON. The celebrities arrived in Regents Park in force yesterday for the professional preview and private view of Frieze. Hollywood A-listers Rob Lowe and Gwyneth Paltrow, supermodels Claudia Schiffer and Elle Macpherson, and the pop star George Michael were among those seen darting through the stands.
Speaking to The Art Newspaper Gwyneth Paltrow said that there was just too much to absorb and that she would definitely return for another look possibly to indulge her taste for photographers Taryn Simon (Gagosian) and David Armstrong (Matthew Marks).
Rob Lowe was visibly bowled over by a gargantuan photograph of Margaret Thatcher by Paul Graham entitled 8 April 2002 (right) on offer for Ł20,000 at Anthony Reynoldss stand. I love it he said before dashing off to appear in A few good men at the Haymarket Theatre.
Later George Michael came by and stopped before the Iron Lady only to be told she was already spoken for.

In "Out of Gas" River seems to be aware of the approaching fireball before anyone can sense it. As frequently happens, her utterance has two interpretations; Simon assumes her "fire" is a reminder to blow out his birthday candles.
The salvage captain (in "Out of Gas") is the second person to refer to Serenity as a "pile of go-se" (dog excrement), the first being Atherton Wing in "Shindig".
River apparently has a grudge against the Blue Sun Corporation, as evidenced by her attack on Jayne's "Blue Sun" shirt [APPARENTLY !]
She similarly attacked the same symbol on the cans in "Shindig

Joss Whedon appears onscreen in an uncredited cameo appearance, as one of the mourners at Tracey's funeral.
The inspiration for 'Objects in Space' was drawn from "Nausea" by Jean Paul Sartre and much of the dialogue of River and Jubal is a tribute to Whedon's admiration for this book [suggested reading?]
